1. Introduction

HUGOUS FOR PROGRAMMING, a part of APMO COMPANY (“HUGOUS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information and Google user data processed through our services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, access, use, store, protect, share, and delete information when Google Drive is connected to our server backup and recovery system using Google OAuth 2.0 and JetBackup.

By authorizing access to your Google account, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Google Drive integration used by HUGOUS to:

• Transfer authorized server backups to Google Drive.
• Store backup files in an authorized Google Drive account.
• View and manage backup files and folders created or used by the backup system.
• Download backups for authorized restoration.
• Delete expired or manually removed backup files.
• Perform backup integrity, retention, disaster recovery, and restoration operations.

The Google Drive integration is intended primarily for internal administrative and server backup purposes.

3. Information We Access

Depending on the permissions approved during Google OAuth authorization, our backup system may access the following information:

3.1 Google Account Information

We may access basic Google account information, including:

• Google account email address.
• Google account identifier.
• Basic account profile information made available through OAuth.
• OAuth authorization status.

This information is used to identify and maintain the authorized Google Drive connection.

3.2 Google Drive Information

The integration may access:

• Google Drive files and folders.
• File and folder names.
• File identifiers.
• File types and sizes.
• Creation and modification dates.
• Storage and quota information.
• Backup directories and their contents.
• Metadata required to upload, download, restore, organize, or delete backup files.

Where broad Google Drive permission is granted, the integration may technically be capable of accessing files within the authorized Google Drive account. HUGOUS uses this access only for legitimate backup, recovery, maintenance, and storage-management purposes.

3.3 Backup Content

Backup files transferred to Google Drive may include server and hosting data such as:

• Website files.
• Databases.
• Email account data.
• Domain and DNS configuration.
• SSL certificate data.
• Cron jobs.
• Application configuration.
• Account configuration.
• Logs.
• Other content selected for backup by the server administrator.

The contents of a backup depend on the configured backup job.

3.4 Authentication Information

We may securely process and store OAuth-related information, including:

• OAuth access tokens.
• OAuth refresh tokens.
• Authorization codes.
• OAuth Client ID references.
• Connection and authorization metadata.

Passwords for the connected Google account are not provided to or stored by HUGOUS through Google OAuth.

4. How We Use Information

We use Google user data and backup information only to:

• Connect the authorized Google Drive account.
• Upload and store backup files.
• Organize backups into designated folders.
• Check whether backup files were uploaded successfully.
• List and identify available backups.
• Download backups for restoration or authorized retrieval.
• Restore files, accounts, databases, email data, or configurations.
• Delete backups according to configured retention rules.
• Investigate failed backup or restoration operations.
• Detect technical problems, security incidents, corruption, or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain the reliability and security of the backup service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable agreements.

We do not use Google user data for advertising.

We do not sell Google user data.

We do not use Google user data to create advertising profiles.

We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

5. Google API Services User Data Policy

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide and maintain the backup, storage, restoration, security, and disaster-recovery functions requested and authorized by the account owner or administrator.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable, we process personal information on one or more of the following bases:

• Your consent, including consent granted through Google OAuth.
• Performance of a contract or provision of requested services.
• Our legitimate interest in operating, securing, maintaining, and improving backup and recovery systems.
• Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations.
• Protection of the rights, security, systems, and property of HUGOUS, our customers, and other parties.

You may withdraw Google OAuth authorization at any time as described below.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade Google user data.

Information may be processed or disclosed only in the following limited circumstances:

7.1 Service Providers

We may use trusted technology and infrastructure providers that process information on our behalf, including:

• JetBackup software and related backup technology.
• Google Drive and Google Cloud services.
• Server, hosting, network, and infrastructure providers.
• Security, monitoring, and technical-support providers.

These providers receive access only as reasonably necessary to provide their services or maintain the relevant systems.

7.2 User-Directed Actions

Information may be transferred or processed when an authorized administrator requests a backup, download, restoration, migration, deletion, or other operation.

7.3 Security and Legal Requirements

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
• Investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, or unauthorized access.
• Protect the rights, safety, systems, and property of HUGOUS, our customers, or others.
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

7.4 Business Changes

If HUGOUS or APMO COMPANY is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection requirements.

8. Data Storage and Security

Google OAuth credentials and backup configuration may be stored on servers controlled or administered by HUGOUS.

Backup data is stored in the Google Drive account authorized by the administrator and may also be temporarily processed within the server’s local backup workspace during backup, download, validation, or restoration operations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, which may include:

• Access controls.
• Restricted administrative permissions.
• Multi-factor authentication where available.
• Secure OAuth authorization.
• Server and network security controls.
• Activity logging.
• Backup integrity checks.
• Encryption where supported by the relevant service or configuration.
• Restricted access to credentials and recovery keys.
• Monitoring and security maintenance.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Retention depends on:

• Backup-job retention settings.
• Manual backup settings.
• Snapshot retention settings.
• Google Drive storage settings.
• Contractual requirements.
• Security and operational requirements.
• Applicable legal obligations.

OAuth access and refresh tokens may be retained while the Google Drive integration remains connected.

Backup files may remain in Google Drive until:

• They expire under the configured retention policy.
• An authorized administrator deletes them.
• The destination is removed and the backups are separately deleted.
• The Google Drive account owner removes them.
• Storage is terminated according to applicable service settings.

Disconnecting the OAuth integration does not automatically delete backup files already stored in Google Drive.

10. Revoking Google Access

You may revoke the application’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings:

1. Open your Google Account.
2. Go to Security.
3. Open Your connections to third-party apps and services.
4. Select the HUGOUS or JetBackup Google Drive connection.
5. Choose the option to remove or revoke access.

An authorized server administrator may also remove or disable the Google Drive destination from JetBackup.

After revocation:

• The integration will no longer be able to perform new Google Drive operations.
• Existing backup files may remain in Google Drive until manually deleted or removed according to retention settings.
• Some OAuth records, operational logs, or security records may be retained where required for security, legal, auditing, or dispute-resolution purposes.

11. Requesting Data Deletion

To request deletion of personal information controlled by HUGOUS, contact:

Please include sufficient information to identify the relevant account, server, or Google Drive integration.

For security reasons, we may request verification that you are authorized to submit the request.

Data stored directly in Google Drive may also be deleted by the owner of the relevant Google account.

We will process valid requests subject to applicable law, contractual obligations, security requirements, backup-retention limitations, and legitimate record-keeping requirements.

12. User Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

• Request access to personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent.
• Request a portable copy of eligible information.
• Submit a complaint to an appropriate data-protection authority.

These rights may be subject to legal limitations and verification requirements.

13. International Data Processing

Google Drive, hosting providers, infrastructure providers, and other service providers may process or store information in countries other than your country of residence.

Where required, we take reasonable measures to ensure that international processing is subject to appropriate legal, contractual, and security protections.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Google Drive backup integration is intended for business, administrative, and server-management use. It is not directed toward children.

We do not knowingly use this integration to collect personal information directly from children without appropriate authorization.

15. Third-Party Services

Our services may interact with third-party products, including Google Drive, Google Cloud, JetBackup, hosting platforms, and server-control-panel software.

Those third parties may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. HUGOUS is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services outside our control.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

• Changes to our backup services.
• Changes to Google API requirements.
• Changes to security practices.
• Changes to legal or regulatory obligations.
• Changes to third-party integrations.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Material changes may be communicated through our website, services, administrative interface, or other appropriate channels.
